The New Forest Tour
The New Forest Water Park
New Forest Cider
The New Forest Water Park is located on the Ringwood road, A338, between Ringwood and Fordingbridge. This family run business is set in 55 acres of countryside and has two lakes used for watersports. Water-skiing, wake-boarding, banana and inflatable tyre rides are all available (fishing is strickly members only). Changing facilities are available at the clubhouse, which has a bar, good food and a large balcony where you can sit and view all the action. The New Forest Water Park is open between Easter and November.
The New Forest Tour is an open-top bus ride, with on-board commentary, passing through unspoilt countryside, historic picturesque villages and beautiful coastline. Guide books are given to tour passengers (included in the purchase price of the ticket), providing lots of useful information about certain things and places seen throughout the journey. The great thing about the tour is that you can hop on and off the bus wherever you like and catch a later bus using the same ticket. Tickets can be purchased from the tour driver (payment in cash) or at Lymington and Lyndhurst Visitor Information Centres. The circular route passes through Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst, Lymington, Beaulieu, Exbury Gardens and the National Motor Museum.
The home of New Forest Cider (Pound Lane, Burley) can be located by following the directions on the large cider barrel, positioned on the pavement in Burley village. Visit the shop and Gallery that where once the village dairy and a cow shed. Here you can watch a slide-show of how the New Forest Cider is produced, while sampling some of the cider (made only from English apples), straight from the barrel.
